Summer is officially here, and Disney World is rolling out refreshing summer dishes!
We made our way to Hollywood Studios to sample a new menu item at Rosie's All-American Cafe on Sunset Boulevard. It’s called the Hot Honey Buffalo Chicken Chef Salad, priced at $12.99.
This salad is loaded with hot honey buffalo chicken, and it's served with fresh romaine lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, celery, cucumber, avocado, peppadew peppers, and green onions, topped with sriracha ranch dressing.
The portion size was impressive! This isn’t just any side salad—it’s the main attraction. Every forkful was packed with toppings that perfectly complemented the crunchy lettuce base.
The chicken had a delightful kick thanks to the spiced buffalo sauce that offered a sweet aftertaste to balance the heat. Spoiler alert: it’s served cold to prevent the lettuce from wilting. Meanwhile, the dressing was not as spicy as expected, tasting more like ranch, but it still blended beautifully with the salad's diverse textures.
For those looking for lighter theme park fare amidst the usual fried treats and ice creams, this might just be a delicious and refreshing option. We loved the mix of crunch from veggies like cucumbers and celery combined with the creamy avocado. It felt like a satisfying treat, highlighting the special magic of theme park dining.
What are your thoughts on lighter food options in theme parks, and do you think this salad would make your must-try list at Disney World? Share your thoughts with us!
