Magic Kingdom may not be famous for its dining, but there are plenty of quick service and table service restaurants to choose from. One of these classic spots, The Plaza Restaurant, is near Cinderella Castle on Main Street, U.S.A. It's known for classic American dishes but doesn’t often top our favorites list. However, a new dessert addition might be a game-changer—let's see if it's worth the reservation!
At The Plaza, the new S’mores Cake, priced at $10, features chocolate cake, ganache, graham cracker crumbs, and marshmallow mousse. The excitement from the wait staff over this dessert was clear—perhaps it's because it's a new offering or maybe because it was so photogenic!
Boasting a rich, chocolatey taste, this dessert could easily be split. The cake is moist yet not overly dense, with creamy ganache and fluffy marshmallow creating a delightful combination. We particularly enjoyed the crunchy freeze-dried marshmallows, though we did wish for more graham cracker crumbs to enhance the s’mores experience.
