With Independence Day around the corner, Disney World is rolling out some exclusive treats to mark the occasion, and we just had to taste them for you! Here's a rundown of some festive bites you might want to add to your holiday itinerary.
We stopped by Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Magic Kingdom to try the Red, White, and Blue Waffle, priced at $8.99. This treat is a crispy waffle topped with mixed berries, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and a sprinkle of festive sprinkles. You might also find it in funnel cake form!
Our next festive stop was Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, where we picked up the Patriotic Cake Bar for $8. This sweet treat is supposed to be a blend of vanilla chiffon with passion fruit, orange, and guava juice, although we couldn't quite find those tropical notes. Nonetheless, it's visually striking and deliciously sweet, perfect for the holiday vibe!
Don't forget, these exclusive treats are available through July 5th, so be sure to snag them while you can! Plus, there are fireworks shows like "Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky" at Magic Kingdom and "Heartbeat of Freedom" at EPCOT adding to the festive spirit.
