We're diving into the fabulous Lunar New Year Festival at Disney California Adventure! This event is packed with unique entertainment, beloved characters, and, of course, an array of delightful food booths that we can't wait to explore. Right now, we're checking out some festival goodies over at the Sketch Pad Cafe at Pixar Place Hotel.

The menu features a creative twist on the classic fortune cookie and a tempting Red Velvet and Cream Cheese Whoopie Pie.

Let's start with the Giant Brown Butter and Lemon Fortune Cookie priced at $9. Although a neat idea, it was too sweet with a chewy texture not quite like the usual crispy fortune cookies. The lemon flavor was there, but the dessert was overwhelmingly sugary.

On a sweeter note, the Red Velvet and Cream Cheese Whoopie Pie for $8 was a hit! With its rich, chocolatey taste, it certainly pleased the red velvet lovers in us, though the cake itself was a tad dry.

Also up for grabs at the Sketch Pad Cafe are treats like the Coconut Custard Bao Bun, Strawberry and Chocolate Chip Overnight Oats, Coconut Matcha Latte, and Taro Dirty Milk Tea, each offering unique flavors worth trying.

Make sure to stop by Sketch Pad Cafe at Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel to indulge in these delightful treats!
