While wandering around Dark Universe with our favorite monster friends, our hunger led us straight to Das Stakehaus. Although we may not be as iconic as The Invisible Man or Dracula in Epic Universe, we still feasted like them! We tried a new snack at this vampire-run restaurant and are sharing the juicy details so you can decide if it's a must-try.
Das Stakehaus, built over ancient catacombs, offers a dark and creepy ambiance. Most dishes arrive on a stake (odd choice for a vampire-themed place, right?), and some are intensely themed, like our dessert, which looked like maggots. Intrigued or put off?
We ordered the Fish on a Stake for $22.99, and spoiler alert — it's a repeat order for us! This includes blackened salmon, charred green onion mashed potatoes, roasted baby carrots, acorn squash, and crispy mushrooms. The salmon was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, providing a delightful quick-service option. But the real stars? The creamy potatoes and perfectly seasoned veggies made the dish both satisfying and light.
