Another day means another Disney World snack review!
SO MANY SNACKS
Disney World is famous for amazing eats and treats, and we're always eager to try anything new. With the holidays in full swing, we've been sampling a variety of snacks from parks and hotels. Today, we’re featuring a dessert from a recently opened restaurant!
We visited The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers at Disney’s BoardWalk to try the Snickerdoodle Cheesecake Bar. This dessert features a snickerdoodle crust topped with cream cheese filling, cinnamon sugar, and crumbled cookie dough — all for $13.99.
Ain’t she a beaut?
It's delicious! The cookie base is nice, and the cheesecake filling is creamy with a rich cream cheese flavor. The flavors combine wonderfully without being overly sweet, thanks to the cinnamon-streusel topping.
Lots of cheesecake
It tastes best when freshly chilled, straight from the bakery. If it warms up while sitting outside in the sun, it can get a bit mushy. While we recommend it purely for the flavor, $14 is steep for one bar, although it’s big enough to share, which eases the cost.
YUM
We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more great snacks at Disney World! Stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for all the latest.
Would you try this new dessert? Let us know in the comments.
