At Epic Universe, there are numerous new food spots to explore, from quick bites to restaurants and bars. We're committed to trying them all to help you choose the best options for your inaugural visit!

In Dark Universe, near the Burning Blade Tavern, DeLacey’s Cottage presents a quick-service menu. We finally sampled a savory item that piqued our curiosity, and it was quite surprising!

The $12.99 Frank & Friends Pretzel, complete with a "white cheese sauce," catches the eye with its Frankenstein-inspired appearance. While visually appealing, the taste didn’t wow us. It lacks the desired chewiness and could use more salt. The cheese sauce, reminiscent of processed white American cheese, was the highlight for us. We certainly love our 'plastic cheese'!

There are other appealing snacks in Epic Universe that are either cheaper or equally priced without leaving you unsatisfied. If you’re really in the mood for a pretzel, Auntie Anne's at Universal’s CityWalk offers a solid alternative. It's not as cute, but it delivers on taste.

In a classic snack showdown, Mickey Pretzels outshine Frank & Friends Pretzel by a mile! Although not gourmet, Mickey Pretzels maintain their charm and are easier on the wallet at $7.99.

If you're still on the hunt for a snack in Dark Universe, the Burning Cheddar Bites at Burning Blade Tavern come highly recommended. They're tasty, shareable, and almost as affordable as the pretzel.

What's ticking this universe of food for me is the variety, but it seems like a few classics still hold their ground. What's on your must-try list? Share your thoughts!
