When visiting Disneyland, you'll find a wide array of dining choices, each offering a unique experience, so it’s key to pick one that suits your tastes perfectly.

We've explored all the eateries at Disneyland Resort to guide you in choosing the best dining option for your trip. If you're planning to make an Advance Dining Reservation, we're here to ensure you select the right spot, so you head in with confidence and excitement. If you're considering Carnation Cafe, here's our honest review!

**Atmosphere**
Carnation Cafe sits on Main Street U.S.A. and is loved for its vintage charm and distinctive striped umbrellas. It's a delightful blend of nostalgia with modern American cafe classics.
Inside, the space is snug, with seating close together, reminiscent of grandparents' homes with vintage photographs. Meanwhile, the outside offers shade under red and white umbrellas, making it pleasant even on sunny days.

**Menu**
Breakfast staples like Mickey Waffles are served alongside dishes like Country-fried Steak and Eggs. Lunch and dinner options include hearty choices like meatloaf and Walt Disney’s beloved Chili. Opt for classic desserts like malts and sundaes or choose from the selection of alcoholic drinks to cap your meal.
**Eats**
Our starter was Walt’s Chili for $12, a hearty dish with a mild kick, complemented by cheese and cornbread crisps. While the crisps absorbed into the chili, impacting their texture, it’s a satisfying choice for those who love a meatier dish.

For entrees, the Guacamole Burger ($22) was messy yet delicious, with perfectly cooked Angus chuck, seasoned with a peppery kick. The fries on the side, crispy and lightly seasoned, were a standout.

The Chicken Fried Chicken ($22) came with herbed mashed potatoes and peppered green beans. The gravy added a savory touch to the tender chicken, though a better fried skin-to-meat ratio would have enhanced it further.

For dessert, the Peach Pie à la Mode ($10) was delightful, featuring fresh peach flavors and a perfect flaky crust with vanilla ice cream. We savored this classic and gave it a 5/5!
**Nosh or Not**

**Overall**
Carnation Cafe is a gem for those who appreciate modern spins on nostalgic dishes. It's not the fanciest meal, but it's the kind that fills you up while delighting your taste buds.
