Another day, another Disney treat review roundup! This time, let’s explore some exciting new snacks at Disneyland.

Looking for sweet or savory? Disneyland has something for everyone. Let’s dive into four new eats in the park!

We’re starting with the Snack-size Mardi Gras Monte Cristo at Royal Street Veranda. This deep-fried sandwich, filled with ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese, is dusted with Mardi Gras powdered sugar and comes with jam for $11.49.

This sandwich delivers a delightful blend of flavors and textures. The crisp batter and the jam accompaniment elevate the dish. The strawberry bits in the jam add a natural sweetness. It’s a must-try, potentially the best at Royal Street Veranda.

Next, we tried the Deep-fried Pineapple at Award Wieners. Chocolate-dipped pineapple fried in corn dog batter is priced at $7.99.

The chocolate overshadows the pineapple, creating a heavy snack reminiscent of a chocolate corn dog minus the hot dog. Subtle pineapple flavors get lost, making it not loveable nor unlikable but simply okay.

At Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream, we tried the PB&J Split, featuring chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice cream, with peanut butter sauce, hot fudge, peanuts and waffle cone pieces for $11.29.

It's a flavor explosion with an assortment of toppings, although more peanut butter flavor would be nice. The waffle cone and peanuts add a welcome crunch. It's chaotic but delightful, perfect for those who like variety in each bite.

Finally, we checked out the Key Lime Pie Churro at Cozy Cone Motel 1, a churro rolled in vanilla cookie sugar with key lime whipped topping, priced at $6.99.

Key Lime Churro

The vanilla sugar stands out, but the artificial and tart whipped topping can be overwhelming. The churro itself is great but combines with the topping for an overly sweet taste. We've encountered better churros at Disneyland.

WHEW! Disneyland's snacks are tempting with the ongoing Lunar New Year Festival at Disney California Adventure. Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to check out all the latest Disney insights.
