Hello, summer! Let's be honest, this is the time of year when we find ourselves sprinting to the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT for a refreshing, icy margarita.
A margarita is the perfect thirst quencher when the heat is overwhelming and sweat trickles down. But someone at Choza de Margarita spiced things up by adding a popsicle to the mix—genius, right? We had to try it!
Introducing the **Mango Poptail Margarita**! For $22, you'll enjoy a margarita with mango puree, a strawberry popsicle, a lime wedge, and a Tajin chile powder rim. Yes, they put the popsicle right in the margarita, and surprisingly, it works! The flavors aren't overly complex, but they blend into a delicious, refreshing drink. The strawberry popsicle isn't anything fancy—more like a regular snack cart popsicle—but in the margarita, to quote Mickey Mouse: "Oh, boy!"
The tequila punches through the mango, melting the strawberry flavor into the mix. It's much like a strawberry mango margarita, but this twist makes it fun. Everyone was curious about it when we walked around EPCOT with it. Trend alert!
Don't forget the food! The tostadas and empanadas here are also worth trying.
