Spring is here, but we're already dreaming of summer days at Disney World’s water parks! In exciting news, both parks will be open this summer for the first time since 2019, and we're pumped for the upcoming splash-filled adventures.
Disney World hotel guests can enjoy complimentary access to the water parks on check-in day, leading to bustling scenes at Blizzard Beach. This summer, Typhoon Lagoon is expected to see similar crowds. Here's our tip: escape the heat and hustle at the chill beach bar with a refreshing drink in hand.
No visit to Typhoon Lagoon is complete without stopping by Let’s Go Slurpin’. This relaxed bar offers the perfect spot to cool down with a delicious drink between wave pool splashes. Here's a rundown of what we tried—along with what you should definitely sample or skip on your next water park adventure!
The Sunset Margarita ($18), featuring Teremana Blanco Tequila and Grand Marnier Liqueur with Smoked Chili Bitters, Lime, and Agave, was intensely tart. If you're up for a bold citrus kick, this might be your perfect match.
Our favorite was the Rum Runner ($15.25), crafted with Don Q Cristal Rum and Blackberry Brandy, and topped with Plantation Original Dark Rum. It was a sweet and fresh tropical delight, just as visually appealing as it was delicious. Definitely a 10/10!
