Flavors of Florida has kicked off at Disney Springs, and I'm eager to dive into all the tastes Florida is famous for in 2025. We recently got a sneak peek at this year's food offerings, enjoyed a culinary demo, and sampled special event dishes and drinks. Now, we're exploring an exclusive Pairing Event featuring local food and drink pairings starting at Enzo's Hideaway and ending at Morimoto Asia.
Our journey began with some fantastic liqueurs by J.F. Haden's, a standout being their espresso liqueur, tasting just like pure espresso. Their Key Lime Pie Liqueur was another delight, echoing the essence of an actual pie. Both were delicious, and you can even purchase them for home. We also savored a classic cannoli and a vibrant drink called The Everglader. Its gin-forward profile with sweet citrus notes was a highlight too.
Enzo's offered us a bourbon flight from St. Augustine Distillery, featuring potent sips like the 102 proof Port Finished Bourbon, which packed a punch! We also tried Pizza Ponte's Fra Diavola Pizza with a spicy kick and The Edison's Hot Honey High Voltage Chicken Sandwich, bursting with native datil pepper flavor. Refreshments included a seasonal beer, Hidden Springs Orange Crush, and a subtly tart Southeastern Sangria.
Bruschetta Calabrese at Enzo's, with its creamy and sweet notes, was a crowd favorite. A special Munyon’s Paw-Paw Florida Liqueur rounded off our palette with its subtle citrus profile. At Morimoto Asia, the Florida Orange Sweet and Sour Grouper blew us away with its vibrant and zesty flavors. Their Sparkling Shiso Orange Mocktail was a refreshing, non-alcoholic option with a refreshing bubbly tang.
This event, priced at $107, provided a wonderful array of Flavors of Florida offerings in one spot (well, two spots) and included around ten drinks, a mocktail, and various snacks. Engaging with brand reps was an insightful bonus. It was an incredible experience, providing hefty value for the fans of both food and drink.
What do you think about these unique flavors? Are you planning to check out Flavors of Florida this year? Share your thoughts in the comments!
