When you're going around the world, it's sometimes hard to find solid food in an air-conditioned area.

Usually when I'm with the wife or just sold I'll share a meal or get a kids meal. Yes you can order a kids meal if you're an adult. you get a decent amount of food, and a small drink. Getting a kids meal is one of the best values at Disney World, in my opinion.

I've had the kids meal that was a chicken salad. the chicken was cold, but flavorful - the sides I got the pickles which were good. The sauces at Disney taste better than polite pig tho.

But sometimes you want smoked chicken, and let me tell you, Disney is doing this justice. Not a terrible price for Disney or a theme park in general if I do say so. The sides are basic, but the salad is good, and the sauces are on par with a decent smokehouse.

Do I think it's better than the Polite Pig in Disney Springs, nah. I like the Polite Pig's sides better such as the brussel sprouts etc.

Do try their Mac and Cheese - their burger is over the top!

and I enjoy their texas toast as buns, and to soak up the sauces as well

@BamaGuy44 thanks for the review of Regal Eagle Smokehouse. Those pics make my mouth water for sure - and I like what I'm hearing about the portion sizes.
Do you know if they offer mobile ordering when it gets busy?

My husband and in-laws tried Regal Eagle in March, and two got the brisket sandwich—which they didn’t like. My husband called it a “one-and-done” experience. Maybe the chicken would have been better, but if I’m going for BBQ in Disney, I’d rather try Polite Pig. Honestly, living in middle Tennessee means we have great BBQ all around us—three or four standout spots within 15 miles—so I’m not in a rush to go out of my way for it at Walt Disney World.

Wish we had an experience like you did!
