There's something special about recreating iconic Disney World treats at home. It's a great way for me to overcome those Disney blues!
Check out these massive cinnamon rolls inspired by Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom—they even rival Gaston’s muscles in size!
Inspired by *The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook*, this recipe is a tasty nod to the park’s original. The recipe involves four steps: making the dough, filling, cream cheese frosting, and butterscotch topping, resulting in eight servings of deliciousness.
Here’s a sneak peek at the dough ingredients:
- 1/2 cup melted salted butter
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 6 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, in total
- 2 packets of active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water at room temperature
- 2 large eggs
And, here’s how to whip up the filling:
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup melted salted butter
Once you get rolling with the recipe, your home will smell just like the magic of Disney World!
