Hey Disney Runners!

I thought I'd make a thread for us to discuss the 2025 Princess Half-Marathon Weekend in Disney World. Registration is this month so this could be a fun place for us to share updates, ask questions, and just discuss our excitement for the Princess Weekend!

2025 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend: February 20 – 24, 2025
  • Club runDisney registration opens July 23, 2024
  • General registration opens July 30, 2024
I'll update as we get more information. I'm looking forward to it!
 
I'll likely sign up for the Princess 10k. I can't wait to see what the themes are. Currently trying to encourage my friend to do it with me. Their favorite princess is Jasmine so fingers crossed she has a medal that will help me convince them to run.
 
Thank you! I’ve never done one, as they seem so popular and resorts are always a tad but higher during that time. So I better pack my patience along with good shoes extra socks and my outfit!
 
I'm hoping to sign up for the marathon this Feb! @Bayley is talking about doing the 5k, and I will follow up with a 10k the day after!

Is anyone going to dress up for the race? If you are I'm looking for ideas as to what character to dress up as!

obviously, this will be a couple of costumes, so I'm trying to think who I'll be!

hell yes. i can't believe i missed this the first time around. @Charlie if you ever do a half or full, lmk so i can try to come out and do it with you!

someone mentioned socks. i'm a huge fan of feetures socks. bougie running socks

I hope you have fun! The energy is always so exciting and it makes the higher resort prices worth it!
 
Was anyone that was trying to register get it? It was sold out so fast! I wasn't able to register!
