Port Orleans Riverside vs French Quarter?

Do you have a favorite Port Orleans resort?

French Quarter is smaller but doesn't have a sit-down, reservation-required type of place like the riverside resort.

However, the most significant part is that the French Quarter has beignets! I love the overall feel of Riverside.

Riverside is usually cheaper by a few dollars like $20-50 a night.

I like Riverside - it's a huge resort, which youd think would be bad due to the size and walking...but I found never to be more than 10 minutes from anything I needed...plus the best part of Riverside is we were able to bring our dog with us and stay at Riverside!

The French Quarter rooms were just renovated thanks to @nerfherder for photos, doesn't change my vote, but still looks great

Which is better Oak or Paterree? We are staying in a royal guest room-woods view and I need a first floor room.

I like Oak, but it depends more on where exactly your room is located in the building.
