Exciting news from Disney World as a beloved attraction hints at its return! Magic Kingdom’s Astro Orbiter, closed since January 2025, may soon take flight again thanks to new permits indicating "labor, materials, and/or electrical for construction."

Astro Orbiter fans, are you ready to reach for the stars again? Tomorrowland's skyline has been quieter without it. The recent permit by Buena Vista Construction Company has sparked hope for a revival. Disney is gearing up for several changes this year, including Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin upgrades and the transformation of Tom Sawyer Island into the new Cars-themed area in Frontierland.

Plus, look out for the upcoming Villains Land, already in progress, and Big Thunder Mountain’s lengthy refurbishment set to complete in 2026. With a tentative summer 2025 reopening for Astro Orbiter, we’ll keep you updated!

What do you think about these changes? Will the new attractions live up to the classics? Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
