We're still in disbelief after our initial trip to Universal Orlando's newest marvel, Epic Universe!

Although the park's grand opening is set for May 22, 2025, we've already been lucky enough to sneak a peek during the park previews. Universal claims Epic Universe is their most ambitious project yet, featuring 50 attractions, brand-new shops, shows, and the latest in dining adventures. Being food enthusiasts ourselves, a standout snack caught our attention—and we can't wait to tell you all about it!

While photos and videos weren't allowed during our preview, we'll be back to capture it all before the official opening, so stay tuned!

Epic Universe is divided into five fantastic lands, including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and the Dark Universe.

Our journey was full of thrilling rides, character meet-and-greets, and an exploration of the detailed park features. Naturally, we made a pitstop at The Oak & Star Tavern to fuel up. This BBQ gem, located in Celestial Park, offers a menu that's both hearty and nature-inspired. The BBQ Platter with Mango Bread and pickles stood out—the bread is truly the dish's highlight!

The Oak & Star Tavern’s ambiance feels similar to EPCOT’s Regal Eagle Smokehouse but even better. We suggest not skipping the Mango Bread if you ever visit!
