When seeking unique snacks, Trader Joe's never disappoints, offering goodies that remind us of EPCOT's global treats. If you're a fan of this beloved grocery store, there's exciting news: A new Trader Joe's is set to open right by Disney World!
After launching new stores on Florida's Space Coast, Trader Joe's eyes expansion in Kissimmee and Maitland. According to the Orlando Sentinel, plans have been filed for a 12,500-square-foot store in the Loop West shopping center in Kissimmee. The store's size and design align with Trader Joe's typical layout.
Additionally, another 12,500-square-foot Trader Joe's is in the works for Trelago Market in Maitland.
While Trader Joe's hasn't confirmed the exact location at Loop West, spokesperson Nakia Rohde indicated they're exploring numerous neighborhoods, including Kissimmee, for new openings.
Owned by the same German family as ALDI, yet operating independently, Trader Joe's has been rapidly expanding, with plans to open 41 new stores nationwide this year. They're nearly there, with 36 new stores already open and nine more "coming soon."
