When travelers head to Disney World and other Orlando theme parks, they typically use Orlando International Airport. This airport sees flights from many airlines, but delays and cancellations can happen, often due to weather. In 2024, flight issues were caused by a major software glitch. Recently, Silver Airways abruptly cancelled all flights to and from Orlando, stranding many passengers, as reported by WFTV.

Silver Airways customers have been stranded as the airline, without warning, halted all flights at Orlando International Airport. This comes months after the airline filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, but there's no direct connection confirmed with the cancellations.

The company initially assured travelers that tickets would remain valid and operations would continue. Yet, as of now, their website shows no scheduled flights for Orlando, though other airports still list available flights.

Greater Orlando Aviation Authority spokeswoman Angela Starke confirmed that all Silver Airways flights are cancelled without further information provided. While Silver Airways has not made a formal announcement, reports suggest reductions in their fleet due to leasing disputes.

We're following this developing situation and will update with any new details.
