If you've flown to Disney World, you've likely passed through Orlando International Airport (MCO), Florida's busiest and one of the top in the U.S. Exciting new developments are on the horizon for the airport in the next decade, and we’ve got the scoop!

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) has rolled out a strategic vision focusing on four key areas: Customer Experience, Community, Infrastructure, and People. These changes aim to enhance your future Disney World trips.

For travelers, Infrastructure goals stand out. By 2030, MCO plans to add 8,000 parking spaces, upgrade the baggage system for Terminals A and B, expand gates in Airside 2, and improve conveyance in Terminal C. Additionally, Terminal C, Phase 2 is set to be complete by 2035.

Terminal names are set for a change—from A, B, and C to Terminals 1, 2, and 3 for better clarity.

Goals also include a new cargo processing facility, a 30% boost in non-aeronautical revenue, and a Business Incubator launch. The airport is targeting a 20% rise in employee engagement and aims for a 5-star Skytrax rating, reflecting top-notch service.

We're happy to see improvements at Orlando International Airport, making it easier to travel through Florida's busiest airport and enhancing Disney World visits! Share your thoughts on these changes in the comments below!
