You might want to think twice before booking that cruise — another norovirus outbreak has struck again. Over 240 individuals on the lavish Cunard Queen Mary 2 have reportedly fallen ill with this highly contagious stomach virus. According to the CDC, the outbreak happened as the ship approached the end of its four-week journey from the UK to the Caribbean. This highlights how norovirus can spread rapidly on cruise ships and even hit the most luxurious vessels.

Given the circumstances, Cunard is focusing on monitoring guests and has implemented extensive sanitation measures. However, the virus spreads easily due to close quarters, shared meals, and quick passenger turnover. Handwashing remains the best defense, as hand sanitizers aren't effective against norovirus.

Would these outbreaks make you hesitate to book a cruise or take added precautions? Share your thoughts!
