We all love Disney World food, but have you checked out this new fast food spot that's outside the Disney bubble?

It seems we'll need to visit Portland, Oregon, because there's a fresh plant-based burger joint in town. And it's not your average opening; a renowned American chef is behind it. Let's dive in!

Have you heard of Molly Baz? She's known for her work as a chef, recipe developer, and food writer, notably as a senior food editor for Bon Appétit. Trust me, she knows good food!

Now she's embarked on a new venture, launching a plant-based fast food chain! On Instagram, she introduced @eatfaceplant, the "new kid on the fast food block."

Four years ago, co-founder Matt Plitch approached her with a vision for a groundbreaking plant-based fast food joint. His goal was to reduce beef consumption to help combat global warming, and he wanted a meat-eater like Baz to lead the culinary efforts.

Molly Baz expressed that she's not a fan of most plant-based burgers due to their taste, which drove her to accept the challenge of crafting a delicious menu. It turned out to be her most time-consuming project yet, aimed at making plant-based food as tasty as its meat counterpart.

Fast forward, and she has accomplished this with the opening of Face Plant. She proudly shared her excitement over their 100% plant-based menu, featuring burgers, shakes, nuggets, and fries.

The doors are now open in Portland, and we're tempted to make a trip to check it out. Molly concluded with a bold promise: "This is just our first location; more are coming across the states and beyond."

This exciting new addition to the fast food scene has us wondering—would you give it a try? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
