It’s truly the end of an era at Disney World as Grand Avenue, the beloved Muppets zone, begins its phased closure. With Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano already closed on May 10th, the last days for Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will be June 7th. While facing the inevitable Disney construction walls again isn't thrilling, the introduction of Monsters, Inc. to this space certainly is exciting! Plus, a lucky few will get to relive the Muppets magic one last time!
Hollywood Studios Cast Members are in for a treat with a special party on June 10th, offering them a final experience of the Muppets Courtyard area alongside Muppet*Vision 3D itself. They surely deserve it, right?
The area will soon transform into Monsters, Inc. themed land. Visitors will enjoy strolling with their favorite monsters, diving into the Laugh Factory, and riding Disney's first-ever suspended coaster. New theater shows are set to delight guests with monster-filled adventures.
