David Hekili Kenui Bell, known for his role in Disney's live-action Lilo & Stitch, has sadly died at 46.

According to PEOPLE, Hawaii police stated Bell died on June 12th, with no foul play involved, and celebrated him as "a bright and shining star."

Fans will remember him as the Big Hawaiian Dude who hilariously kept losing his ice cream in the movie. Though a minor role, his comedic timing added great laughs to the film.

His sister, Jalene Kanani Bell, and his family confirmed the news on June 15th. Bell's agent called him a "gentle giant" who truly embodied "aloha."

David celebrated his role with his family, arranging the best seats for the premiere on May 23rd—a testament to his character and love for his family.

Our thoughts are with his family in this difficult time.
