There's something odd going on with the My Disney Experience app that's been lasting for a couple of days.
When checking the Disney World app, you can typically view Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Single Pass, and Premier Pass prices for up to 21 days ahead. This feature helps plan your budget if you intend to buy any of these passes. However, the app has experienced technical issues recently.
On January 19th and 20th, upon selecting dates to check the Lightning Lane Multi Pass pricing for February 9th and 10th, an error message appeared!
All other dates displayed available Multi Pass and Single Pass options. Interestingly, for February 9th and 10th, the Premier Pass was inaccessible, either blocked or sold out. It's improbable that all four parks sold out that quickly, so there might be another reason.
It's unclear why this occurs on these dates, but we'll monitor for any resolutions!
Recently, Disney announced upcoming changes to the Lightning Lane Premier Pass on January 21st. It will now be available to everyone visiting Disney World, not just those staying at Disney World hotels or select other hotels.
Lightning Lanes are Disney's skip-the-line service at Disney World parks, with pricing that varies based on your choices and the purchase date. For more info on how it works, check out our detailed video!
