Pixar has been delighting us with its films for ages, and I'm excited for their latest release, *Elio*, hitting theaters soon. We're also anticipating *Toy Story 5*, but Pixar has more surprises in store! Their next movie, *Gatto*, will star a black cat named Nero in Italy, exploring if he's been living the right lives, with a musical tail indebted to a feline mob boss—sounds intriguing, doesn't it?
Scheduled for a 2027 release, *Gatto* is being directed by Enrico Casarosa and produced by Andrea Warren, both known for the underrated *Luca*. Early animation tests show a unique hand-painted style, which might be what we see in the final film.
