Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is changing its maximum occupancy for campsites starting in 2026. Currently, you can host up to 10 guests at your site, but soon, only 8 guests will be allowed. This applies to all campsites excluding the cabins, which can host 6 guests.

Fort Wilderness, nestled in 750 acres of pine and cypress forest, offers a unique camping experience. You can enjoy activities like swimming, archery, horseback riding, and even catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach. Plus, there's complimentary transportation to the parks and early park admission.

Considering these new regulations, be sure to plan ahead and book enough sites if you're visiting with a larger group. Seek the help of Small World Vacations for stress-free booking—they’re experts in crafting Disney vacations and don’t charge any service fees.

Have you experienced staying at Fort Wilderness before? It's such a distinctive slice of Disney magic. I'd love to hear your thoughts or tips on the best activities there! Feel free to share your experiences in the comments.
