Exciting news for frequent Southwest Airlines travelers heading to Disney World!
Recently, Disney tested a pilot program that allowed guests staying at their Value hotels and flying Southwest to have their luggage delivered directly to their flights from Orlando International Airport without the need for baggage claim. Great news—the program's expanding!
Starting November 18th, guests arriving on domestic Southwest flights at Orlando International Airport (MCO) who are staying at select Disney World hotels can skip baggage claim and can have their bags delivered directly to their resort. The service, managed by BagCheck, aims to transport luggage to Disney hotels within approximately four hours of your flight’s arrival. To use it, travelers drop their bags at the Southwest counters and off they go!
For now, this Airport Luggage Transfer service is available at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, All-Star Music Resort, All-Star Sports Resort, Art of Animation Resort, and Pop Century Resort. Disney may roll it out to more hotels in the future, and we’ll keep you updated on any new developments.
