So, you’ve sorted out the major details for your Disney World trip, like where to stay, ticket options, and places to eat. But how are you actually getting there?

Orlando International Airport (MCO)

For many, flying to Orlando International Airport is the best option. Fortunately, if you’re in Boise or Sacramento, Alaska Airlines now offers two NEW nonstop flights to Orlando International, the nearest airport to Disney World. Awesome!

Orlando International Airport announced new nonstop flights with Alaska Airlines from Boise, Idaho, and Sacramento, California. This is a great option because nonstop flights are generally less stressful than connecting flights. Who wants stress on a Disney World trip?

Once you arrive at Orlando International Airport, you need to get to Disney World. It’s pretty straightforward, with options like rideshares (Uber or Lyft), renting a car, or using shared shuttles like Mears Connect.

Once at Disney World, getting around is simple. Disney offers a large, FREE transportation network of buses, the Monorail, boats, and the Skyliner.
