Exciting news! We’ve got the latest on the construction of Disney World’s upcoming resort, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, which is positioned next to Magic Kingdom and scheduled to open in 2027.
The resort is located on the site of the former River Country water park near Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. It aims to celebrate the beauty of nature.
Construction is in full swing with numerous cranes and equipment on site. The exterior of one building is nearing completion and the shell of a second is emerging. The five floors are taking shape beautifully.
This addition to the lineup of Disney Vacation Club Resorts is thought to be a future Deluxe Resort, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
