Exciting news from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! The ride is currently undergoing a year-long refurbishment at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, and we’ve noticed some promising changes. On our recent visit, we saw tarps over what appear to be the new train cars, suggesting progress is underway. Disney has hinted at adding "a little bit of new magic" when it reopens, which has us hoping for some of the fun effects found in Disneyland's version.
