With Epic Universe now open, many travelers are flocking to Orlando to explore Universal's latest park. While there, they're also visiting Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure as part of their getaway.
Universal has recently announced several temporary ride closures at Islands of Adventure this year. If you plan on visiting this summer or beyond, be sure to check these closure dates.
We expected a few attractions to be temporarily unavailable for refurbishment, but the list has grown. There are still plenty of activities to keep you engaged, but ride closures can impact your vacation.
Islands of Adventure will temporarily close five attractions:
- Dr. Doom’s Fear Fall from June 16 to June 20, 2025
- Dudley Do-Right’s RipSaw Falls from October 6 to October 31, 2025
- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey from November 3 to November 16, 2025
- Skull Island: Reign of Kong from August 20 to August 29, 2025
- Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle (closure duration not posted)
Remember these dates to plan accordingly for your next Universal trip. For more theme park news and updates, keep following us.
