It's that time again...
Yes, spring is here, and with it comes the inevitable rush for allergy meds and the tense wait to see if our beloved TV shows survive for the fall lineup. We're bombarded with news of numerous series getting the chop, including those on streaming platforms. Right now, NBC has confirmed the cancellation of three of its shows.
First on the list, as reported by Variety, is the series *Found,* which won't return after its second season. Premiering in 2023, it starred Shanola Hampton alongside Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, and others. The story follows Gabi Mosely, a former kidnapping victim who took matters into her own hands by capturing her captor. Although it's been axed, *Found* could find a new home as its producer, WBTV, plans to shop it around.
Moving on, *Night Court* has also been canceled after a three-season run. A reboot of the 1980s classic, this series featured Melissa Rauch and original cast member John Laroquette. Despite strong initial ratings, interest waned in later seasons. WBTV remains optimistic about potentially finding it a new outlet.
Lastly, *Suits LA* has been cut after just one season. Although it was a spin-off of the popular *Suits,* it failed to capture viewers due to unfavorable reviews and low ratings. The series followed ex-federal prosecutor Ted Black as he sought new beginnings in Los Angeles.
This is definitely a time of mixed emotions for TV enthusiasts. Have you been following any of these shows? Share your thoughts!
