Exciting news for EPCOT fans: big changes are on the way!

Test Track is making a comeback on July 22nd, 2025, after over a year of transformation. The reopening will not feature a virtual queue, raising questions about its impact on other attractions at the park.

This EPCOT favorite has undergone a total overhaul, and we’ve had a sneak peek to share all the updates. A major shift is the Lightning Lane system, with Test Track moving to the first tier, while Soarin’ drops to tier two.

Lightning Lane users can pre-book three attractions, with Disney World hotel guests having a 7-day booking head-start. Test Track’s addition to tier one, accompanied by other top attractions, alters the strategic planning for visitors.

No virtual queue for Test Track means you have options: Lightning Lane (availability pending), traditional queue, or single rider line. Excitingly, Lightning Lane Multi Pass bookings for Test Track started June 30th, 2025, for July visitors with extended resort bookings.

The single pass system remains exclusive to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. We can’t wait for Test Track to reopen fully, and if you want all the juicy details, check out our full review!

With these changes, how do you feel about planning your EPCOT day? Let us know in the comments! Are you thrilled for the revamped Test Track?
