Time to rock out! Sorry, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Cosmic Rewind, but we're jamming to Nine Inch Nails on another Disney World coaster. Can you guess which one? Here’s a hint: we’re gearing up to enter the Grid.
Welcome to TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom, now featuring an all-new ride experience to celebrate the upcoming *Tron: Ares* movie. Get ready for TRON to go RED, changing the way we see reality!
We joined the excitement at Magic Kingdom bright and early on September 15th to check out the new *Tron: Ares* overlay. The line was long, with a 70-minute wait at park opening.
So, what's fresh about this ride? The classic blue has been swapped for a vibrant red, paired with the pulsating industrial sounds of Nine Inch Nails. You'll race through red and orange tunnels, creating a whole new aesthetic that'll look even more striking at night!
Even the ride photos are getting a revamp, coming with a video featuring slow-motion action as you zoom through. Fun fact: Shanghai Disneyland’s TRON ride is also getting this limited-time makeover starting September 16th.
We love these seasonal tweaks from Disney; it keeps the magic alive. Over at EPCOT, they're also doing something special for the Food and Wine Festival.
What’s your favorite Magic Kingdom ride? Drop your thoughts below!
