I’m really down right now—I lost my wedding ring at work yesterday, and I’m not sure how it happened. I almost never take it off, but it was gone when I checked. It’s a bit tricky to remove without some soap or a slippery substance, so I don’t think it just slipped off easily.
I’ve searched everywhere, including checking the trash can at one of my customer’s locations where I might have accidentally lost it while washing my hands. I’ve gone through the trash twice, and it’s not in the drain since there’s a grill over it. I’m hoping someone at the customer’s site might find it, but right now, I’m just feeling really bummed out.
Has anyone else been in this situation? Any advice on what to do next or how to deal with the loss would be greatly appreciated.
