While Disney World is currently defined by major construction projects like Piston Peak, Villains Land, Monsters, Inc. land, and Tropical Americas, there is also a litany of smaller projects going on across the resort.
Crew’s Cup Lounge
Case in point, a major dining closures coming to the Yacht Club Resort at the end of February.
The resort’s popular Crew’s Cup Lounge is scheduled to close on February 23rd, with an expected reopening sometime in May.
Crew’s Cup Lounge
The Crew’s Cup Lounge, which is located just outside the Yachtsman Steakhouse, features a menu of “Lounge Favorites” including charcuterie and cheese boards, lobster bisque, the Yachtsman’s trademark bread, and — OF COURSE — one of our favorite offerings at any Disney hotel: The Prime Rib Sliders.
Prime Rib Sliders at Crew’s Cup Lounge
We’ve been major fans of these delectable sandwiches for a long, long time. For $21, the dish provides 2 slider sandwiches stuffed with sliced prime rib meat, accompanied by a side of house-made chips, and cups of horseradish cream and au jus.
Prime Rib Sliders
Even if the Crew’s Cup hits its May reopening on target on time, it won’t mean the end of construction at the Yacht Club, as that month will in turn see the Yachtsman Steakhouse close or what Disney is calling a “refresh,” with its reopening expected in August.
Yachtsman Steakhouse
The Yacht Club’s popular Crew’s Cup Lounge is scheduled to close for a several-month-long refurbishment on February 23rd. Stay tuned to Magical Guides for updates on its reopening.
