While Disney World and Universal’s Epic Universe are often in the spotlight, LEGOLAND Florida is set to steal some thunder with exciting developments. LEGOLAND is launching an innovative indoor roller coaster at its Florida and California parks, thanks to a massive $90 million investment from Merlin Entertainments. It promises to blend the imaginative LEGO world with a thrilling experience for families, marking the park's most significant upgrade yet.

Merlin's CEO, Fiona Eastwood, shared her excitement, highlighting this endeavor as the first of its kind for LEGOLAND, destined to elevate the visitor experience to new levels. Construction has begun with a launch date set for 2026. Additionally, California’s LEGOLAND will see its first new coaster in two decades.

In the meantime, visitors can look forward to the new SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium opening in Orlando on May 23rd.

LEGOLAND's expansions sound thrilling! I’m curious to hear your thoughts on these additions. Do you think it will give a new edge to LEGOLAND compared to its larger competitors? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
