A Disney representative did comment, saying, “The board has not yet selected the next CEO of the Walt Disney Co., and once that decision is made, we will announce it.” During Disney’s most recent earnings call on February 2nd, 2026, CEO Bob Iger said that the company is on a path to growth and that he can’t speak for his successor, but he believes it’s that it’s important that any organization created is done so with creation and accountability in mind.
