Making reservations at Disney World's table service restaurants can be a real challenge! Fortunately, many of these spots have attached lounges that are easier to access and often share the same kitchen, offering similar dishes. We checked out the Territory Lounge at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and found it to be quite the hidden gem.
The lounge's rustic, cozy atmosphere is sprinkled with explorer-themed decor. It’s a nice spot to relax away from the hustle and bustle, though you might want to sit towards the back to escape noise from the nearby Storybook Dining at Artist Point.
The menu here may not be extensive, but it offers a good mix of shareable bites and drinks, though they sadly lack mocktail options. One drink that stood out was "The Northwoods," a perfectly balanced cocktail with rosemary and citrus notes—not overly strong, but just right.
Food-wise, we tried the Territory Popcorn Sampler, which was tasty but overpriced. The Bacon on a Wire was a delight, though the bourbon drizzle left us puzzled. The plant-based Spicy Macaroni and “Cheese” impressed, especially for those on a vegan diet—it might not please traditional mac & cheese lovers, though.
You can even sneak in dessert with their Flourless Chocolate Cake, a rich treat perfect for sharing.
This lounge is ideal if you're staying at Wilderness Lodge and looking for a plant-based meal option or just a chill spot for a drink. It might not suit pickier eaters or those seeking a budget-friendly meal. What do you think? Have you tried this lounge before, or do you have other favorites in Disney World?
