Disney Springs is one of our go-to hangouts when we're not exploring the parks, primarily because no ticket is needed! One standout stop is The Polite Pig, a quick-service barbecue joint that holds a special place on Disney World property for serving top-notch food. During our recent visit, we tried their new summer cocktail, the Pig Lagoon, and it did not disappoint.
The Pig Lagoon combines lemon, lime, coconut cream, and blue Curacao syrup. You can choose to enjoy it with or without rum. Its taste is reminiscent of a lemonade and rum mix, without an overpowering rum flavor. The tartness from the lemon and lime is delightful and a perfect introduction to rum for those who are curious. As a fun twist, the drink comes with a little pig decoration, upping its charm factor.
We're quite taken with this cute, sweet, and tropical cocktail. However, do note—it might turn your mouth blue!
For more whimsical drinks, head to The BOATHOUSE for the Duck Duck Razz. We continue our quest to review more exciting drinks, so stay tuned with Disney Food Blog for your Disney food news.
Have you visited The Polite Pig at Disney Springs, or tried any of their unique drinks? We'd love to hear your thoughts! Would you give the Pig Lagoon a try, or recommend a different favorite?
