2025 seems destined to be remembered as the year of closures at Disney World. Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom has been undergoing many changes and updates, with numerous closure announcements pouring in. These closures, while inconvenient now, promise future enhancements for fans to relish. Disney reveals yet another attraction closure, but it seems this refurbishment will delight fans.

Not all Disney attractions garner the same level of appreciation, and some Disney adults openly voice their displeasure. Fans have long wished for Tomorrowland to receive the attention it deserves, as it appears to be fading into the past instead of looking towards the future.

Although a complete Tomorrowland revamp isn't on the horizon, this refurbishment news shows progress. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is set to close for an extensive update this August, joining the ranks of Test Track in EPCOT and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Despite initial surprise, the changes sound promising!

You'll notice a new scene featuring Buddy, a friendly robot helping riders prepare for their mission. Interactive targets and handheld blasters, echoing Disneyland's version, aim to enhance the gameplay. Plus, updated ride vehicles with real-time scoring make it an exciting development.

Though an opening date hasn't been set, this update aims to elevate the Space Ranger experience. Are you thrilled, or would you prefer the ride stayed the same? Share your thoughts in the comments! What's your take on all these changes happening at Disney World?
