On the other hand, some guests may want to be far from Port Orleans Square’s hustle and bustle and the surrounding crowds or just simply want to be immersed in the resort’s natural beauty and crafted landscape.

Once you choose your hotel, you’ll need to start thinking about dining. Between the reviews, menus, and reservation strategies, it’s a lot to sort through. Our Guide to Disney World Dining pulls it all together so you can stop stressing and focus on the fun without feeling like you’re missing a thing!

So, once you’ve figured out which of these rooms is for you, how can you get it? The best way to try would be to request your desired room (or the desired area of your room) at the front desk when you arrive at the hotel. Now, you CAN try and call before your arrival, but in our experience, it’s better to do it in person. Also, once you make the request, prepare yourself to possibly wait a bit longer than for a general room.
