I absolutely adore Disney character dining! It's an absolute must to book a character breakfast during every trip, whether I'm at Disney World or Disneyland. Recently, I switched things up by choosing a breakfast at Plaza Inn inside Disneyland, and it turned out to be the most amazing character dining experience I've had.
This breakfast, themed around Minnie & Friends, guaranteed a meet with Minnie, along with some surprise character appearances. Seeing Minnie set the perfect tone for the day, especially since I was Disneybounding as her! The characters at Disneyland really go above and beyond to create memorable interactions, possibly because of their proximity to L.A. and passion for acting careers.
Walking into the beautiful Victorian-themed Plaza Inn, we were greeted by a delightful buffet and characters mingling with guests. Even during my previous experiences, I've rarely seen so many characters all at once. We were lucky to meet rare characters like Perla and Suzy from *Cinderella*, as well as favorites like Pooh, Tigger, Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Daisy. Tigger, in particular, took over the room with his bouncing joy!
The breakfast buffet offered standard Disney fare, but the Minnie waffles were a charming twist. At $50 per adult and $30 per child, this was one of the most affordable character dining options, and the experience was truly worth it.
This was an unforgettable experience, especially for someone in our group who was trying character dining for the first time. I can't wait to book another character breakfast at Plaza Inn.
