How scary is the Tower of Terror drop?

I love roller coasters. I've been on Guardians of the Galaxy Rewind - and thrown upside down in Rocking ' N' Rollercoaster - but something about a free fall, maybe I don't like the falling feeling. It reminds me of being in an airplane that is going thru severe turbulence.

I've ridden it once, and that is it. It's one I normally avoid, and thankfully the lines are pretty long for it.

It's a controlled drop, even if you don't know how many times you will go up and down.

Of all the rides at Disney World, it's probably one of the safest, believe it or not. I agree that the feeling of falling is unsettling, and your description of being on an airplane is pretty accurate.
