There's no shortage of recommendations when planning a trip to Disney World. While some spots live up to the hype, others might fall short. However, here's one you absolutely shouldn't miss.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ at Disney Springs has been a favorite for years thanks to its southern comfort food and Florida-inspired dishes. With some exciting new menu additions, we had to dive in to see if they match the restaurant's stellar reputation!
First on our list was the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp. Coated in house-made hot honey and paired with a remoulade dipping sauce over greens for $18, these juicy delights were a hit. The hot honey balanced sweetness with subtle spice, making it shareable and satisfying.
Next up, the Braised Beef Sandwich priced at $24, featuring slow-cooked pot roast, roasted red peppers, and Swiss cheese on a Cuban roll. The tender beef and layered cheese created a delicious harmony of flavors—perfect for lunch!
For a slight $1 upgrade, we tried the Sweet Potato Mash. With toasted marshmallows and a hint of brown sugar, it had us praising sweet potato mash like never before.
We love the vibrant atmosphere at Homecomin’. The attentive staff and amazing food make it a standout spot. These new menu items scored a perfect 10/10 for us!
