2025 is a big year for Disney World!
Cinderella Castle
New attractions are debuting, while some existing ones will close or undergo refurbishment. Here’s a look at what these changes mean for your 2025 Disney visit!

2025 will bring several new attractions to Disney World, shifting how you spend time in the parks. Plan to stay at Magic Kingdom at night to see the new parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.

Additionally, a new villain show: Unfairly Ever After will debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in summer 2025. Hollywood Studios will also see the reopening of “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” after its closure in 2020. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, look forward to Zootopia: Better Zoogether — a fresh show at the Tree of Life.

Several classic attractions will close permanently, so plan to experience them one last time:
Dinosaur
Take photos in front of these attractions and bring tissues because, after this year, they will be gone!
We love The Muppets!
Some attractions will be temporarily closed for refurbishment in 2025:
Test Track
If these are some of your must-dos, plan to try something new instead during their closures!
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
With exciting new lands in both Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, expect construction walls in 2025. Cars Land is coming to Magic Kingdom, replacing Rivers of America, which may change parade viewing spots, especially in Frontierland.

The Tropical Americas aka Pueblo Esperanza is taking over Dinoland U.S.A. so we will be seeing some walking paths changed here. Since Dinosaur is staying open through 2025, only part of Dinoland will be blocked off.

Hollywood Studios will see Muppets Courtyard transformed into Monsters, Inc. Land. Construction timelines aren't yet confirmed, but expect some changes in this area.

Two new lounges are set to open in 2025. Prioritize visiting these spots, possibly shifting your focus from rides or shows to experiencing these attractions. The new Spaceship Earth lounge will open in EPCOT before Summer 2025.

A Pirates of the Caribbean tavern will also open in late 2025. Anticipate high demand, and plan accordingly if you want to visit this popular spot.

New perks await Disney World hotel guests. On check-in day, receive a FREE ticket for your group to either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon (whichever is open). Typically around $70 per person, this perk lets you enjoy water slides instead of immediately heading to the parks or Disney Springs.
