We were lucky to attend the SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium Hard Hat Tour Media Event at LEGOLAND Florida Resort. As part of over 40 SEA LIFE locations worldwide, this one promises to be the most advanced yet.
The SEA LIFE attraction will showcase exciting exhibits like a freshwater swamp, seahorse nursery, coral reef, and Sting Ray Bay. The Ocean Tank will feature three blacktip reef sharks, the true stars of the aquarium. One is even coming from Germany—quite the journey!
An interactive touch pool will let visitors explore species not found locally, such as sea anemones, abalones, snails, and sea stars. Our excitement is through the roof!
In the Jelly Invaders area, you'll be able to change the color the jellyfish pass through, making it look like they're changing colors — how amazing!
You'll also find glow-in-the-dark creatures in colorful caves and even an octopus at the shipwreck section of Blackbeard's ship.
One highlight: the massive 150,000-gallon ocean tank with a theme park-inspired design, including a haunted house area. They're using a special substrate to enhance the eerie vibe, inspired by wondering what fish would do if they visited Florida!
LEGOLAND Resort has more up its sleeve, with a "super secret" development in the works. Plus, starting May 3rd, there’s the LEGO Festival with interactive zones and brand-new LEGO builds.
