As 2024 wraps up, we're reflecting on all the events in Disney World this year.
The real highlight? All the delicious food and drinks! We explored new [restaurants](https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2024/12/14/first-look-inside-wailulu-bar-grill-at-disneys-polynesian-village-resort/) and tried exciting [snacks](https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2024/11/12/review-this-new-17-disney-world-snack-will-have-everyone-asking-where-did-you-get-that/), while also saying farewell to some favorites. And there's still one treat left to try as we welcome the New Year!
For the New Year’s 2025 Cupcake, we headed to Pizzafari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Priced at $6.29, it features a chocolate cupcake with cherry filling, almond frosting, chocolate crispy pearls, and a chocolate 2025 decoration. This cupcake is an annual tradition!

But how does the 2025 cupcake taste? It's a moist chocolate treat, but the standout is the cherry filling, creating a delightful black cherry vibe alongside the chocolate. The almond frosting can be overshadowed by these flavors, and the crisp pearls, though fun, might stain fingers. It's a sweet indulgence we keep returning to!
